Description
Professional model Morin Khuur is made with Hard Maple sides, with spruce for its soundboard and back board. Highly responsive and tone wise, its bass is strong, with high notes being clear enough for most professional stage performances.
The Morin Khuur – ancestor of both the classical violin family and the Chinese Huqin family – is a native instrument of the Mongolian. Its tone is soulful and mellow, and in the hands of seasoned performers can sing both the stories of the grasslands as well as the ruggedness of the modern concrete jungle.
