For recording artistes and performers, they need the sound of the guzheng to be delicate, light and resonant. Not an easy feat for more instruments under $1000. With a streamlined frame design, and sound posts with tone bars constructed in this guzheng, we are happy to say that it can be achieved at a fraction of the costs.
Nanmu is said to be virtually resistant to insects and decay, and with time, the tone of this instrument will get more and more resonant and be a lot more valuable than what is is today.
