Description
Though considered a learners’ model, this Guqin, along with top notch artistry, has an added touch of red cinnabar, giving this model of Guqin a unique character.
Made using recovered columns of a Qing Dynasty building, the material, though cheap, has solid structure and is highly tensile. Much is to be appreciated of the tone of this Guqin, as its overtones are mellow, and yet, retains its characteristic melancholy in its timbre. Its low tones are full sounding and sustains its vibrations very well, in fact, good enough for a recording of solo Guqin.
Its harmonic tones are clear and crisp.
This Guqin is suitable for players in an intimate recital setting. <P>
